The 88th birthday of Prince Karim Aga Khan was celebrated at the City Court Bar Room under the auspices of the International Lawyers Forum. Speaking on the occasion, the Forum’s Chairman, Advocate Nasir Ahmed, praised Prince Karim Aga Khan’s outstanding contributions to Pakistan’s development and progress. He highlighted that Aga Khan’s humanitarian services in the fields of health and education transcend distinctions of race, color, and religion, setting a remarkable example for others.
Advocate Nasir further noted the diverse presence at the event, representing all communities and reflecting interfaith harmony.
FMCK’s Provincial Head, Sister Nargis Sadiq, lauded Prince Karim Aga Khan’s dedication to humanitarian causes and prayed for his long life. Other speakers included Allama Athar Mashhadi, Vijay Maharaj, President of the Pakistan Sikh Welfare Association Sardar Hari Singh, Advocate Farshid Rouhani from the Baháʼí community, Advocate Jamshed Ali Khawaja, Asif Khaskheli, Sardar Ajit Singh, Sister Fazilat, and others.
Bishop Gulfam Javed ceremoniously cut the 88th birthday cake and offered a special prayer for the country’s safety and prosperity.
