The delegation from the headquarters of Japan International Cooperation Agency( JICA), comprising of Ms. Mizuno Kelko, Senior Advisor (Education), Ms. Kodama Sara, (Program Officer), Ms. Shimizu Akiko (Evaluation Analyst) accompanied by JICA AQAL II team based in Pakistan including Ms. Chiho Ohashi (Chief Advisor), Mr.Abid Gill (Deputy Chief Advisor), Ms. Nazia Seher (Senior Program Manager) and Mr. Prem (Provincial Coordinator) visited the Sindh Education Foundation.

Honorable MD SEF Sir Abdul Kabir Kazi, Director Programs and Planning Sir Abdul Jabbar Mari, Deputy Director Programs Mr. Mukhtiar Ali Chandio briefed about vision and mission of Foundation and future planning for non formal intervention and expansion with TCF parwaz, establishment of micro schools of accelerated digital learning program, and aspire project centers.

AD AALTP, Ms. Saima Siddiqui briefed the JICA mission about SEF, it’s overall intervention and particularly about the AALTP, it’s portfolio, key features, achievements and future intervention. The collaborative intervention of SEF and JICA AQAL carried out so far has been discussed and the way forward, especially regarding the technical assistance of JICA in the AALTP expansion phase and tapping the potential.

The meeting concluded with a vote of thanks and provided an opportunity to strengthen the ties between both entities.

SEF senior management is very keen to uplift and promote non formal education, that is endorsed by the JICA mission and they appreciated MD SEF for the initiatives.
