Saima Faheem Principal Govt Girls Pilot Higher Secondary School District Central arranged an awareness session on hazards of tobacco use for all the students.
The awareness session held on the occasion of International Children’s Day Celebration which aimed to aware students about the deadly impacts of tobacco and drugs use on human health.
The teachers of school also told students to adopt healthy activities and discourage the use of any form of tobacco or even sweet supari which leads to the use of tobacco.
Whereas students also showed their interest in spreading awareness of tobacco and drugs use through making different posters.
Office of The Deputy Commissioner District Central Karachi with the collaboration of Tobacco Control Cell Directorate General Health Services Sindh is taking initiatives to aware masses about tobacco use hazards, tobacco control laws and also doing efforts to ensure implementation on tobacco control laws.
