Karachi; Administrator DMC East Rahmatullah Sheikh said that parks and grounds will not be allowed to become centers of negative activities which parks and grounds were becoming centers of negative activities are now settling down.
He expressed these views during an inspection of Khan Liaquat Ali Khan Park and Ground Mehmoodabad along with Superintending Engineer M&E Mubeen Sheikh and Superintending Engineer Civil Salman Memon.
He directed to officers complete the construction and repair works on immediate basis and said that the park and ground should be illuminated with the help of the best lights so that the residents of the area could benefit from it.
Parks and grounds which were in the eyes of the occupiers faced strong resistance in restoring them, but all possible steps have been taken to use the government land for the welfare of the people.
