Governor Sindh Kamran Khan Tessori stated that journalists could not be left alone, they play a vital role in the development and prosperity of country.

He told to ask Sindh Government for release of grant to support journalists.
Journalists health, children’s education and housing is the responsibility of the government which is being worked on, he added.
Governor Sindh expressed these views on the occasion of meeting with the delegation of Local Bodies Reporters Association (LBRA) at the Governor House.
On this occasion, Administrator Karachi Dr. Saif ur Rehman, Press Secretary to Governor Saleem Khan, LBRA Patron-in-Chief Shehzad Chughtai, President Tanveer Syed, General Secretary Imran Ali Shah, Finance Secretary Abid Abbasi, Information Secretary Ahmed Ali, Governing Body members Nadeem Siddiqui, Faisal Rajput, Bilal Zafar Solangi were also present.
Speaking with the delegation of Journalists Government Sindh informed that “I am well aware of the issues We are writing a letter to Sindh government that the independent funds of governor, which were closed in the previous era, should be restored so that the oppressed and important sections of the province can be supported at different times.
He said that he has asked Sindh government to allocate a quota for journalists in the housing schemes so that this class serving the nation can get their own residence.
He assured for the support to Local Bodies Reporters Association and also asked Administrator Karachi Dr. Saif ur Rehman to provide all possible support to LBRA.
On this occasion, Senior Journalist Shahzad Chughtai said that this is the only representative organization of print and electronic media journalists reporting on local government , whose aim is to resolve the issues of journalists and make positive relations with local government institutions .
General Secretary Imran Ali Shah said journalists are struggling to improve the province and specially Karachi city by sharing the current situation to the higher authorities through their news.
Whereas, President Tanveer Syed thanked Sindh Governor Kamran Tessori for his hospitality and said that we have high expectations from you that you will not only continue to cooperate with journalists but will also keep a close eye on the problems of Karachi city including whole Sindh province .
