Governor Sindh has said that the new map of Pakistan is not a political stunt but a reality, adding, “I am happy that Modi is in India, he himself is tearing his country into pieces.”
He was addressing the Azadi-e- Kashmir Rally on Sea View held under the World Kashmir Forum (WKF). The procession, led by WKF Chairman Haji Rafiq Pardesi, was attended by Dr Farooq Sattar, WKF General Secretary and former Attorney General of Pakistan Anwar Mansoor Khan, Joint Secretay Rashid Alam, Secretary Finance Muhammad Rafiq Suleiman, Rasheed Goodil, Engineer Sarwat Ijaz, PMNL Sindh President Mohammad Tariq Hassan and various other prominent personalities joined by thousands of city residents.
The demonstration started from McDonald’s and culminated at Nishan-e- Pakistan.WKF Chairman Haji Rafiq Pardesi, Anwer Mansoor Khan, Rashid Alam and Mohammad Rafiq Suleiman presented sword to the Governor of Sindh.
The governor stressed that now the world should open its eyes and assess the condition of Kashmiris as they have experienced themselves how difficult it is to go through COVID19 isolation times.
He wondered why human rights and human watch people are silent over the plight of Kashmiris and said though it is very difficult to get attention of Geneva but Haji Rafiq Pardesi has taken up this uphill task.
Governor Sindh assured that he will support World Kashmir Forum for this cause in every aspect. Addressing the huge gathering, World Kashmir Forum Chairman Haji Rafiq Pardesi said that he would take the petition against atrocities by Indian occupation forces on Kashmiris to Human Rights Council in Geneva.
“For the first time, the people of Pakistan are taking this petition,” he said and appealed to the people to sign the petition in large numbers so that it gets noticed. Pardesi said, “Today they are celebrating Black Day by wearing black armbands against the Indian atrocities,” and assured the crowd that the Organization of Islamic Conference (OIC) would also be moved after Geneva to shake the sleeping conscience of the Muslim Ummah.
WKF Secretary General and former Attorney General of Pakistan Anwar Mansoor Khan on the occasion said that Indian atrocities have now reached the extreme and it’s high time that “We will go to the UN Security Council in this regard.”Ends.
