Sachal Police Station team on the directives of Shafiq ul Rehman Afridi Station House Officer-SHO foiled the supply of Gutka and Betel Nuts in Pakistan’s Business Hub Karachi.
It was learned that the Police on Monday on the spy information raided at a Godown near Quetta Bus Stand Super Highway where large quantity of betel nuts and gutka recovered .
Whereas, SHO informed that, one person namely M. Punar arrested from the spot and another person Irfan nominated in the First Information Report-FIR.
Moreover, Shafiq ul Rehman stated that, the recovered items total weight was 2040 Kilogram, which includes 100 Sacks of Betel Nuts and 40 Kilogram Gutka.
Gutka is one of the banned item in the city by the orders of Sindh High Court, However on the directions on Top Officials of Sindh Police the SHOs of Police Stations in the city are conducting raids and seizing large quantity of banned item on a daily basis.
It was also observed that, Shafiq ul Rehman appointed as SHO Sachal last month, after his posting the ratio of crime in the jurisdiction is gradually going down as the present Station House Officer have zero tolerance police for the criminals and all kind of illegal activities in the area.
