Residents of UC Malh held protest rally against drugs selling before Awami Press Club Malir Memon Village here on yesterday led by social activists, elected representatives.

Hundreds habitants of area participated protesting demonstration who were hailing stern slogans against illegal drugs sellers and local Police personnel holding banners and play cards in their hands.

On That occasion social activist Abdul Wahid Khaskheli, Abdul Hakeem, Ramzan Bandejo, zakat committee chairman Zahir Ahmed, councilor Shah Nawaz Baparo and others talked with journalists and said that police has enlisted names of those respectable villagers who complain or protest against drugs dealing instead of taking steps against drugs sellers.

They told that Altaf Ameer, Yasmeen and zubaida are selling drugs openly under the supervision of police personnel of Murad Memon police station.

They revealed that drugs is sold before hospitals, markets, educational institutions and other ares in rows but no serious steps have been taken against them yet which is difficult to understand.

They said that their youth is being involved in drugs taking.

Villagers appealed IG Sindh, Additional IG Karachi, SSP Malir, DG Rangers and other concerned officers to have execution against those police personnel who are indulged in drugs selling also against drugs seller otherwise they will become constrained to enhance the boundary of protest.
