On the direction of the Director General Military Land Cantonment Board Karachi, a large-scale operation against encroachments has started in Korangi Cantonment Board area Bhitai Colony and surrounding area.
The flow of traffic was also affected by the said encroachments.
Chief Executive Officer Cantonment Board Korangi Creek Faisal Munir Vato is directly monitoring the operation against the encroachments.
On the first day of the operation, dozens of encroachments were demolished and encroachment equipment was confiscated.
On this occasion, Kamran Khan, in-charge of the enforcement team, said that despite giving notices to the people, the encroachments were not removed, after which the above mentioned operation was started, now our enforcement team will continue to carry out operations to eliminate the encroachments on a daily basis.
In this regard, Chief Executive Officer Cantonment Board Korangi Creek Faisal Munir Vato says that the encroachments causing trouble to the people will not be tolerated.
He also appealed to the people of Bhatai Colony to support us for the improvement of the area and play their full role in making it a clean and ideal area.
