Sindh Education Secretary Ahsan Ali Mangi has refused fake news about extending winter vacations for schools, saying that the holidays are going to be end on Tuesday according to the schedule.

The Sindh’s Secretary School Education and Literacy Department, Ahsan Ali Mangi, explained that no extension will be made in winter holidays for the educational institutes and schools will be remain opened from 1 January 2020.

Addressing on the issue of extension of winter vacations due to extreme cold weather, Muhammad Furqan Bilal President Karachi Region of All Private Schools Management Association Sindh said that we believe the vacations should be extended due to harsh and cold weather.

He said that we request the honorable Chief Minister Sindh Mr. Murad Ali Shah and Secretary Education Mr. Ahsan Mangi to consider our request and extend holidays for at least one week .

Meanwhile, he added that all schools should provided relaxation to students who reach the school late and the management must allow them to sit in the classrooms without any punishment till the weather get normal.
