A protest rally was organized in Landhi Town under the leadership of Town Chairman Abdul Jameel Khan, accompanied by TMC Muhammad Ibrahim Imrani and Assistant Commissioner Landhi Aun Abbas Naqvi.
The rally, which began from the Landhi Town Head Office, saw participation from school students, teachers, and government officials, all raising strong slogans against India’s water aggression, threats, and hostile statements.
The demonstrators carried placards condemning Indian “water terrorism” and the provocative actions of the Modi government.
The protestors firmly rejected India’s threats and declared unwavering support for Pakistan’s stance on its rightful share of water resources.
Addressing the participants, Chairman Abdul Jameel Khan stated, “India’s deceitful tactics will never be accepted. The rivers and their water belong to us—this is our right, and we will reclaim it by all means necessary, even if it means going to war.”
He further warned India not to live in a fool’s paradise, saying, “In the event of war, we will respond so fiercely that the world will watch. If you stop our water, we will stop your breath—then these rivers will run with blood.”
TMC Muhammad Ibrahim Imrani echoed this sentiment, stating, “If India dares to attack, the battlefield will become a vast graveyard for Indian warriors. The Pakistani nation, driven by faith, will respond to every act of aggression, shoulder to shoulder with its armed forces.”
Assistant Commissioner Aun Abbas Naqvi also strongly condemned India’s unilateral move to suspend the Indus Waters Treaty, calling it a declaration of war. “Blocking Pakistan’s water is a hostile act, and any aggression will be met with a full-force response,” he affirmed.
Students in the rally hold placards with slogans denouncing Indian water policies and threatening rhetoric, showcasing the unity and resolve of the people of Landhi Town against any threat to Pakistan’s sovereignty and resources.
