In a series of administrative changes within the Karachi Development Authority (KDA), the Government of Sindh’s Local Government and Housing Town Planning Department has issued official notifications reassigning key personnel.
According to a notification dated April 16, 2025, Mr. Kashif Khan, an officer of Ex-PCS (BPS-18), who was serving as Member (Finance), KDA, has been relieved from his current post with immediate effect. He has been directed to report to the Services, General Administration Department. The directive was issued with the approval of the competent authority.
In a separate notification dated April 17, 2025, Mr. Shakeel Ahmed Siddiqui, an officer of (BPS-19) KDA currently serving as Member (Administration), has been assigned the additional charge of Director (Finance), KDA, in addition to his existing duties until further orders. This change follows the relieving of Mr. Kashif Khan.
Furthermore, Mr. Jameel Ahmed, an officer of (BPS-19) serving as Director Information Technology (IT), KDA, has also been relieved of his duties at KDA. He has been directed to report to the Local Government and Housing Town Planning Department immediately until further instructions are issued.
These notifications were signed by Hammadullah Seehar, Section Officer (HTP-I), and endorsed by Additional Chief Secretary Khalid Hyder Shah.
The reshuffle is seen as part of ongoing administrative restructuring aimed at improving governance and efficiency within the KDA and related departments.
