The Karachi Development Authority’s Land Management Department has issued a formal communication requesting the immediate implementation of a file management system in accordance with Governing Body Resolution No. 16.

In the letter addressed to the Director General, KDA, the Director Land highlighted continued delays in executing the system despite clear directives and earlier correspondence dated July 19, 2023. Two prior letters were also issued to the Director IT, yet no action has been taken.

The Director Land emphasized that the swift implementation of this system is essential for improving operational transparency, accountability, and efficient record-keeping within the department.

The letter has also been shared with the PS to Minister HTP, PS to Secretary KDA, and PA to Director Land KDA to ensure coordinated action.

KDA reaffirms its commitment to transparent governance and institutional reform for better public service delivery.
