Karachi Development Authority Employees union on Wednesday staged protest at Civic Center, the head office of KDA over non payment of employees monthly salaries, pension including medical allowance in which large number of employees participated.
On the Occasion KDA Employees chanted slogans in front of Member Finance office gate.
Whereas General Secretary of KDA Employees Union shared that the department has not paid the salaries of October and November and the medical facility has also stopped.
However he added that, despite of facing various issues employees are ensuring their presence through biometric attendance.
During the protest M. Abdul Maroof Spokesman of KDA Employees Union urged from the provincial government for the devolution of Sindh Building Control Authority and Master Plan department into KDA. He claimed that by the inclusion of SBCA and Master plan in KDA the department would be financially stable.
Moreover he questioned to Member Finance that, why the department is facing delay on receiving monthly grant cheque from Sindh Government .
Further he demanded from DG KDA Saif ur Rehman for the immediate payment of employees monthly salaries including other said issues.
