KDA Employees Union raised question on the dealy in payment of monthly salaries despite of provincial government orders for the release of payment earlier due to lockdown.
Whereas, KDA Employees Union Spokesman Abdul Maroof asked DG KDA Dr Saif ur Rehman that why the department still has not get the 200 Million monthly grant from Sindh Government .
He pointed out that the Public Relations Department of KDA issued press release on 26th March that the management has made contact with Finance Department Government of Sindh for the payment of monthly grant .
He questioned that almost one week period passed but the situation is still same department has still not get grant from the provincial government.
Abdul Maroof stated that in this current situation of Coronavirus spread and lockdown in country everyone either he is a low grade or higher grade officer or the contract or workcharge employees every person is facing severe financial crisis.
He hinted that if the lockdown would extend further then the person would suffer. He said that the management still not paid the salary for the month of February whereas one month salary already due of all employees .
Employees Union Spokesman demanded from Director General Karachi Development Authority for the payment of two months salary now.
Further he urged Minister Local Government Syed Nasir Hussain Shah for the release of monthly grant to the department so that employees could get salaries .
