KDA Watan Parast Union Patron in Chief on Thursday demanded Minister Local Government Syed Nasir Hussain Shah and DG KDA for the raise of 100 Million in monthly grant of department as there is zero recovery of KDA due to the lockdown.

It was learned that Sindh Government provides 200 Million grant to Karachi Development Authority on monthly basis to bear the departmental expenses.

He stated that 200.40 Million grant is insufficient for the department to pay the salaries and pensions to all of the employees , 100 Million more grant would prove beneficial for KDA to pay all the salaries and pensions.

Moreover Syed Imran Hussain informed that due to non payment of salaries and lockdown employees are depressed and facing severe financial crisis.

Further he appealed to the Minister local government for the issuance of current with additional grant to Karachi Development Authority on a priority basis.

He expressed hope that the Minister local government and DG KDA would resolve the said issue as soon as possible.
