Senior Advocate Jamshed Ali Khawaja announced the results of Chitral Students and Social Welfare Association elections for the year 2021-2022.
According to the results, Maqsood Ali won the presidential seat with 210 votes, while the opposition candidate Najib Ahmed came second with 154 votes.
17 votes were rejected for violating Election Code of Conduct and Rule 17/F.
Advocate Nasir Ahmed, Head of International Lawyers Forum, paid tributes to Advocate Jamshed Ali and Election Commissioner for holding fair and transparent elections.
