During the session, officials discussed strategies to provide relief to the public in light of the upcoming Eid-ul-Adha.

Speaking on the occasion, Chairman Rashid Khaskheli stated that the purpose of holding the meeting prior to Eid-ul-Adha is to save the residents of the town from potential inconveniences.

He noted that with the movement of sacrificial animals expected to begin soon, there will be an increase in vendors selling fodder and other related items.

He directed relevant departments to take necessary action against those causing encroachments and clutter.

Khaskheli emphasized that all departments must play an active role in keeping the town clean ahead of Eid and prevent the spread of garbage and filth in public areas. He further remarked that the establishment of cattle markets in unauthorized locations is unacceptable. Only those markets that meet legal requirements will be considered valid, while action will be taken against illegal setups.
