A high-powered Pakistani delegation, led by former Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari, has reached Washington, D.C., following a two-day diplomatic campaign at the United Nations Headquarters in New York.

The delegation includes senior leaders like Senator Sherry Rehman, Hina Rabbani Khar, Dr. Musadik Malik, Khurram Dastgir, Faisal Subzwari, Tehmina Janjua, and others. Their objective: to counter India’s aggressive narrative and highlight Indian violations of international law, especially the Indus Waters Treaty (IWT) and cross-border hostilities in India-Occupied Kashmir.

At the UN, the delegation held high-level meetings with UN leadership, Security Council members, OIC ambassadors, civil society, media, and the Pakistani diaspora, drawing global attention to Indian-sponsored terrorism, violations of the UN Charter, and targeting of civilians.

In a press conference, Bilawal stated that Pakistan seeks peace, but warned of disastrous consequences if India’s unilateral aggression continues. He proposed intelligence cooperation between ISI and RAW to curb terrorism across South Asia.

Meanwhile in Moscow, SAPM Syed Tariq Fatemi met with Russia’s foreign policy adviser Yury Ushakov, reaffirming Pakistan’s position and commitment to dialogue. The Russian side appreciated Pakistan’s clear diplomatic stance and expanding bilateral ties in trade, energy, and connectivity.

Separately, Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar praised the global response to Pakistan’s diplomatic outreach, particularly Turkey and Azerbaijan, for their solidarity during recent escalations. He noted that India’s hegemony has been challenged, while Pakistan’s responsible response has earned international recognition
