A significant meeting was held today at Jinnah Hospital Karachi under the banner of the All Pakistan Clerks Association (APCA) – Jinnah Hospital Unit.

The session was hosted at the Najmuddin Auditorium and was led by prominent figures including Mehmood Alam, Hassan Pathan, Ameer Ali Dinary, Asadullah Samtio, Muhammad Shahid Iqbal, Sajid Mughal, Darain, Adnan, Izhar Siddiqui, Haq Nawaz, and Lal Jan Baloch.

 

The meeting witnessed active participation from a large number of Jinnah Hospital employees representing various departments.

Attendees shared their views and unanimously agreed on the urgent need for promotions across all employment cadres.

The discussion emphasized departmental promotions, seat adjustments, and time-scale promotions, highlighting these as essential for employee motivation and institutional growth.

 

The participants also deliberated on matters concerning the overall future of employees and the development of Jinnah Hospital.

A key outcome of the session was the decision to form a 10-member Promotion Follow-up Committee.

This committee will be responsible for pursuing pending promotion files with the hospital administration and the Secretary of Health. Additionally, it will represent employee concerns regarding the Board of Governors and ensure their voices are heard at the appropriate forums.

The meeting concluded with a strong message of unity and commitment toward securing the rights and career progression of all Jinnah Hospital employees.
