KARACHI:The health authorities in Sindh have not been able to control dengue virus as 275 new cases have been reported throughout the province so far this year, with 219 cases alone reported from Karachi.

According to sources, cases of dengue virus are being reported on a daily basis in different hospitals. So far this year, 275 cases have reported in the province, of which 219 cases were reported in Karachi division, 46 in Hyderabad division, four from Mirpur Khas division, and three cases each from Larkana and Sukkur divisions.

As per to the statistics of Sindh Health Department, 42 cases of dengue have been reported from 9 districts in Sindh this month while 15 cases have been reported from District East of Karachi, six from District Central, four from Korangi district, 10 from District South, one from District West and three from Malir district.
