On the directives of DIG East and SSP East, Sachal Police, under the leadership of SHO Sachal Amin Khoso, carried out a highly successful operation against drug trafficking.
During the operation in the Sikandar Goth area of Memon Nagar, Sachal Police thwarted an attempt to smuggle drugs worth millions of rupees.
Police arrested one suspect, identified as Haider Ali, son of Akbar Ali. However, two accomplices — Akbar Ali, son of Abdul Malik, and Usman, son of Farooq Aka Khel — managed to escape.
During the operation, police recovered 21 kilograms and 200 grams of high-quality hashish (charas).
The arrested suspect revealed during initial interrogation that the seized narcotics were intended for distribution across various areas of Karachi, including educational institutions and universities.
A case has been registered against the accused under FIR numbers 981/982/983/2025, under Section 9(I) 3(e) of the Narcotics Control Act.
The investigation has been entrusted to the SIO of Sachal Police Station.
