The Young Doctors Association (YDA) JPMC team is thrilled to announce that our demand for the removal of charged parking facilities for patients and attendants has been fulfilled.
Executive Director JPMC Dr. Shahid Rasul has ordered the stoppage of charged parking, alleviating the financial burden on poor patients and attendants visiting the hospital.
The YDA team had written an application to Dr. Shahid Rasul, expressing their concern about the unethical practice of charging for basic amenities like parking and toilets.
They also met with the Executive Director to discuss this issue and two other pressing concerns: paid washroom facilities and illegal occupants in the doctors’ hostel.
The YDA JPMC team is grateful to Dr. Shahid Rasul for taking notice of their demands and fulfilling their first goal.
They remain hopeful that the other two demands will also be met, ensuring a better experience for patients and attendants at JPMC.
