A delegation of the Young Doctors Association (YDA) Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre (JPMC), led by Chairman YDA Sindh Dr. Mehboob Noonari, met with Dr. Saddam Saleh to congratulate him on his appointment as Assistant Director Medical JPMC.
The delegation included Vice Chairman YDA Sindh Dr. Mehran Khan Shar, President YDA JPMC Dr. Ammar Danish, Spokesperson YDA JPMC Dr. Muhammad Ali, Dr. Neel Kanth (YDA NICH), Dr. Dileep (YDA Umerkot), and Dr. Abu Bakar, who also serves as Coordinator of the Health Committee of the Human Rights Council of Pakistan Sindh.
The YDA team expressed appreciation for the decision made by Secretary Health Mr. Rehan Baloch and Executive Director JPMC Prof. Dr. Shahid Rasul regarding the removal and transfer of the previously appointed Surgeon, who was accused of corruption and deemed to have been appointed through illegal means to the post of Deputy Director Medical (DDM) at JPMC.
In their statement, the YDA demanded a transparent and comprehensive inquiry into the alleged corrupt practices during the tenure of the removed official. They emphasized the need for accountability and justice, asserting that such steps are essential for restoring trust and ensuring merit-based appointments in the healthcare system.
