KARACHI: Young Nurses Association(YNA)Sindh has organized a mega event in connection of International Nurses Day at National Institute of Child Health(NICH) Karachi.
Special Secretary Health Tahir Hussain Sangi was the special guest of the program. Deputy Secretary of Health Department Ghulam Abbas , Executive Director of NICH Prof. Nasir Saleem , Deputy Executive Director Dr. Arshad Hussain Domki, Director of Nursing Sindh Najma Mangi, Assistant Director of Nursing Jameel Ahmed, Controller Sindh Nursing Examination Board Miss Iram Shad as well as principals of nursing institutes and office-bearers of YNA participated in the event.
Regarding the International Day, Miss Florence Nightingale’s birthday cake was cut and tributes were paid to her services.
Addressing the ceremony, Special Secretary Health Tahir Hussan Sangi said that the field of nursing is a very important field in the health department and the services of nurses can never be forgotten.
He congratulated all the promoted Nursing Officers on this occasion.
All the guests were presented shield Sindhi awards and bouquets and the leadership of Young Nurses Association Sindh thanked all the guests.
A luncheon was also arranged by Young Nurses Association Sindh for all the guests.
