With Determination, Sincerity, and Hard Work, Success is Inevitable :Arif Najmi CEO Shed Foundation
“With determination, conviction, sincerity, and hard work walking hand in hand, success bows at one’s feet.” These views were expressed by the Chief Guest, CEO of SHED Hospital, Arif Najmi, while addressing an appreciation ceremony organized by the SHED Foundation.
He said that a living example of this is the journey of the SHED Foundation under the dynamic leadership of Munaf Alana and Riaz Noori. A struggle that began with a small hut on a barren and thorny piece of land has now transformed into several modern buildings housing remarkable projects.
He further added that this example also applies to the Pakistan Institute of Hockey (PIH). Despite financial constraints during a period of decline in hockey, the institute’s continuous efforts are a testament to its unwavering love for the country, the nation, and the national sport, hockey. He assured that SHED Foundation will stand shoulder to shoulder in this unparalleled national service.
Chairman of Karachi Hockey Association, Gulfaraz Ahmed Khan, stated that if the model of the PIH is followed, it is not impossible to restore Pakistan hockey to its former glory.
Founder and Honorary Secretary General of the Pakistan Institute of Hockey (PIH), Ambassador of Hockey, Professor Rao Javed Iqbal, said that in just twelve years, they have demonstrated practical vision by stepping away from traditions and adopting innovation. They have initiated unique projects that have even been appreciated by their critics.
He emphasized that PIH is free from any political affiliations and will support any individual or organization working sincerely for the betterment of hockey.
The ceremony was also addressed by PIH President Zahid Shehab, Director of Operations Junaid Ahmed Khan, Joint Secretary Syed Imtiaz Hassan, Administrator of Care School Kamal Qadri, and SHED Hostel Warden Yaqoob Mufakkir.
On this occasion, Professor Rao Javed Iqbal (Founder & General Secretary of PIH), President Zahid Shehab, Senior Coordinator of SHED Speaker Forum Sagheer Anjum, and SHED Scout Group Leader Mubeen Ashraf Hashmi were presented with appreciation shields and the traditional Ajrak as a token of respect.
Due to Mubeen Ashraf Hashmi’s illness, his shield was received on his behalf by Scout Leader Mumtaz Ansari.
