Secretary Local Government, Housing and Town Planning Roshan Ali Sheikh said that cleaning and spraying of disinfectants should be ensured regularly in the month of Muharram.

The Secretary Local Government, Sindh, while instructing the officers, said that no rubbish or dirt of any kind should be seen on the imambargahs, mosques, mourning halls and mourning procession routes during all days of mourning and spraying of antibacterial spray should continue in these places.

In particular, Roshan Ali Sheikh directed the Solid Waste Management Board to regularly pick up garbage from each Garbage Transfer Station and arrange cleaning and spraying at the level of each Union Council.

In an exclusive interview, Roshan Ali Sheikh said that all Municipal Commissioners are required to report on cleaning and spray activities in their areas on a daily basis as human health and public safety is one of the top priorities of the Government of Sindh.
