Federal Minister of National Food Security and Research Syed Fakhar Imam along with Coordinator National Locust Control Centre(NLCC) Lieutenant General Moazzam Ejaz visited Tharparkar to review the anti locusts operation .
NLCC Officials briefed Federal Minister regarding the ongoing operation in tharparkar to control locusts .
A Session of NLCC headed by Federal Minister National Food Security also held in which representatives of NLCC from all over country participated via Video link.
Whereas During the meeting Syed Fakhar Imam thanked Pakistan Army for support and stated that the success to control locusts is because of the collaborative work of all institutions.
He said that “Pakistan Army role is exemplary for the safety and prosperity of Country” .
Federal Minister also shared that they are trying to control locusts by collaborative work as the safety of agriculture crops is the responsibility of all.
