Sohrab Goth Police Station team arrested one accused in injured condition after cross firing and recovered illegal weapon.
According to the details shared by Zubair Nawaz Station House Officer (SHO) Sohrab Goth Police Station ,Asi Abbas Siyal along with Police officials Police Constable Ahsan & Police Constable Nadeem were busy in motorcycle patrolling, While they tried to stop a suspicious motorcycle at near superhighway at around 0050 Hours but they don’t stop, and start firing on Police Party.
SHO stated that, In cross firing, One Accused Namely Navaid @ Junaid s/o Umar Zada, Arrested in injured condition and another accused fled away from spot.
However, police have recovered One illegal 9mm Pistol with 4 Bullets and cash from the arrested accused.
Further Zubair Nawaz told that, Injured accused shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital for treatment and Cases Registered under section 353/324/34 PPC R/W 7ATA and 23 (1)A at Sohrab Goth Police Station.
