Local Government Department suspended Transition Officer Defunct DMC East on 29th August 2023 till now no transition officer has been posted due to which hundreds of employees are deprived of getting monthly salaries and pensions.
On the other hand the official work of Defunct DMC East has also stopped because of non availability of Transition Officer and non payment of salaries, pensions.
Officers and Employees of Defunct DMC East urged Minister Local Government and Secretary Local Government Sindh to resolve the said issue of the posting of Transition Officer so the salaries, pension of employees could be released.
It was learned that the Local Government Department suspended Transition Officer Naveed Kolachi in the end of previous month due to which the cheque of employees salaries were not signed and hundreds of employees of the department on 12th September still seeking to get their monthly salaries which they got previously on first week of every month.
Daily City News Correspondent contacted Interim Minister of Sindh Local Government Department via whatsapp but he has not responded to the questions regarding the said issue.
