Karachi: Yaseen Shar Baloch Director General Sindh Building Control Authority (SBCA) stated that action will be taken against illegal constructions on residential plots without building plan approval.
However, DG Sindh Building Control Authority also instructed officers to take strict action against those who build portions and additional floors in multi-storied buildings.
Under Section (1) 19 of Sindh Building Ordinance 1979, 82, construction and sale of commercial flats units on residential plots is illegal, he added
He also hinted for Strict action will be taken against the person involved in illegal constructions.
DG SBCA also told that Disciplinary action will be taken against those who involve in issuing illegal sub-lease.
According to Sindh Building Ordinance 1979.82, those involved in illegal constructions will be imprisoned for 3 years and fined 50 thousand rupees, he said.
