Chairman Tmc Jinnah Rizwan Abdul Sami has expressed concern over the unnecessary interference of Karachi Metropolitan Corporation (KMC) in the limits of Town Municipal Corporation (TMC) Jinnah of District East Karachi.

He says that the Jamaluddin Afghani Road in Bahadurabad is legally included in TMC Jinnah’s boundaries, on which PTAPA and TMC Jinnah have unanimously signed an MoU under the Safe City Project.

Renovation of roads, including undergrounding of cables, is a project that will help Jinnah Town on the path of development,in which KMC and PPP are making hurdles .

He stated that, KMC on the will of Pakistan Peoples Party has stopped the work on Jamaluddin Afghani Road and has falsely claimed that this road is within the limits of KMC.

He added that Town Municipal Corporation Jinnah in the process of development and strongly condemns the obstruction and fully supports PTAPA, the steps taken for the betterment of the people under the Safe City project will be made possible at all costs.

Chairman Rizwan Abdul Sami warned KMC and Pakistan Peoples Party that instead of interfering in the measures taken for the betterment of the people, they should fulfill their promises to the people.

Everyone is aware of the situation and this is a practical proof that the Mayor of Karachi and his party do not want the development of the city, but those who are working for the development of this city are also being stopped, he told.
