Karachi؛ Administrator DMC East Syed Shakeel Ahmed said that it is not the responsibility of DMC East to resolve the problems of water and sewerage and the work has been ensured in collaboration with the Water and Sewerage Board.
He expressed these views while inspecting the pumping station being constructed on Asma Garden Metroville iii Road.
He said that the residents of the said place were facing serious problems regarding water supply, on which a pumping station is being constructed with the fund of MNA Kishwar Zehra, after which the long-standing problem of the area will be resolved. Residents of area thanked MNA Kishwar Zehra and Administrator Syed Shakeel Ahmed for doing so and apprised them of other problems, on which he directed the officers present that the problems that could be resolved take action on it immediate basis, especially for removal of encroachments on the road.
He was accompanied by Deputy Director DM Irshad Ali and officials of DMC East.
