A new NADRA office was inaugurated in UC Saleh Muhammad Goth, Gadap Town, in a ceremony led by Town Municipal Corporation (TMC) Gadap Chairman Tariq Aziz Baloch.
The event was attended by Member of the National Assembly (MNA) Syed Agha Rafiullah, Member of the Provincial Assembly (MPA) Raja Abdul Razzaq Baloch, and NADRA Director General Ihtesham Shahid, among other officials.
Chairman Tariq Aziz Baloch highlighted the Pakistan Peoples Party’s (PPP) commitment to fulfilling its promises to the public, stating, “With this new NADRA office, another pledge made to the people has been honored.”
He noted that four NADRA centers are already operational across various union councils in Gadap Town, underscoring efforts to enhance accessibility to civic services.
The newly inaugurated facility will provide residents of UC Saleh Muhammad Goth and surrounding areas with critical services, including computerized national identity cards (CNICs), family registration, document processing, and other NADRA-related assistance.
MNA Syed Agha Rafiullah emphasized the PPP’s vision of delivering “door-to-door facilities” to citizens, aligning with the party’s manifesto. Meanwhile, PPP Malir District President and MPA Raja Abdul Razzaq Baloch described the office as a “major step” toward resolving public issues, particularly in streamlining NADRA services. “The PPP is at the forefront of addressing public concerns and ensuring solutions,” he added.
The inauguration ceremony saw the presence of PPP Malir District General Secretary Imdad Jokhio, Information Secretary Shah Jahan Khan, UC Chairman Anwar Baloch, Director Information Rizwan Sabir, sub-engineers Arshad Baloch (M&E) and Zafar Shafi (B&R), Deputy Director Information Muhammad Sharjeel Khan, photographer Muhammad Noman Khan, assistant Shah Muhammad Shah, PS to Chairman Lal Jan Nabi, and other local dignitaries.
Officials reiterated that the project reflects the PPP’s broader mission to empower communities through accessible governance and efficient public service delivery.
