No negligence acceptable in arrangements of Shab e Barat, Administrator District Council Karachi

Karachi : Administrator District Council Karachi (DCK) Noor Hasan Jokhio said that it has always been the tradition of the District Council that the services it has provided to the people of the area during national/religious festivals has proved its example and we will continue this tradition in a better way.

In the month of Shaban, Shab-e-Barat comes the affairs will also be carried out on an exemplary level, cleaning and other works on the side roads of mosques and cemeteries will be done on an emergency basis, along with this, the cemeteries will be lit by electric lamps so that the people of the area can remember their loved ones.

Negligence in these religious days is not acceptable, The concerned staff should put their experiences in front and complete their affairs, said Administrator DCK.

Moreover he added that,the most important responsibility of Sanitation and M&E department regarding the performance of said affairs.

But, It does not mean that the other departments are not responsible all departments should support each other , he expressed these views While presiding over the important meeting regarding arrangements of Shab e Barat.

On this occasion, Chief Officer Ayaz Hameed ullah Baloch, District Engineer Mumtaz Ali Zardari, Chief Finance Officer Iftikhar Dao, xen Murtaza Malik, Ashfaq Hussain, Director Sanitation Mushtaq Mattoo, Deputy Aamir Rathore, Engineer Mazhar Hussain Shah, Wasim Arain, Director. Property Sohail yar Khan, Deputy Faisal Rajput, Director Purchase Mujtaba Khan including others were also present.
However administer further said that it is our official responsibility and also a religious duty to provide municipal facilities.
