It was revealed in An application submitted by an employee of the National Institute of Child Health (NICH) to the Executive Director that

Syed Jamal Raza was the head of NICH from 2009 to 2020 During his tenure, Dr Imrana Pul, Medical Officer 17 BS did not perform duty, but the then administration did not take any legal action against her and her salary and other privileges continued.

While it was also revealed that disciplinary action was taken against the employee in Civil Hospital before her transfer to NICH, she was likely to be fired from the government job, but she used influence to get transferred to NICH.

On the other hand, the administration is the same since 2020, but the head has become Dr. Nasir Saleem Sadal, he is also reluctant to take action against the ghost employee.

In the said letter, the NICH employee questioned hospital administration that who will answer about the public exchequer suffered a loss of nearly 20 crores in these eight years because she did not attend a single day of duty but the salary continued.

While the employee of NICH has demanded and said that now it is the responsibility of Health Minister Sindh, Chief Secretary Sindh, Secretary Health Department Sindh to suspend Dr. Imrana Pal by taking disciplinary action against her and also stop her salary.
He also urged to Initiate inquiry against former and present heads of this institution that why they remain silent on the matter.
