Establishment of Manzoor Colony Furniture and Manufacturers Association, Karachi’s largest furniture market formed its first elected cabinet after 40 years, there was great excitement in the business community, Sahibzada Saqib Noshai became the president and Tariq Alvi became the chairman, according to details, the first meeting of Manzoor Colony Furniture and Manufacturers Association was held yesterday at Manzoor Colony Furniture Market.
In which Patron-in-Chief Rana Waheed, President Sahibzada Saqib Noshai, Chairman Tariq Alvi, Senior Vice President Khushi Muhammad, Vice Presidents Shamshad Ahmed, Muhammad Ali Gujjar, Saad Usman, Abid Ali Hashmi, Malik Mudassar, Hafiz Ajmal General Secretary Lala Shahzad Pashi, Finance Secretary Abdul Ghaffar Sheikh, Additional Secretary Waqar Ahmed, Kamran, Joint Secretary Naeem Mughal, Tariq Ajmal, Information Secretary Ghaffar Sindhi, Social Media Incharge Kamran Abbasi, Ahsan Dar, Labor Union Incharge Afridi, Arbaz Shah, Chairman Labor Union Rao Naeem, Office Secretary Shada Gujjar, Babar Gujjar, Moeez Gujjar were elected, while the oath of allegiance will be announced soon.
On this occasion, the objectives, goals and future plans of the union were discussed. Speaking at the ceremony, Patron-in-Chief Rana Waheed said, “We are excited to start this new chapter in the furniture industry.” Manzoor Colony is considered the largest furniture market in Karachi, where a new cabinet has been formed after 40 years.
The aim of the union is to promote the interests of furniture manufacturers, suppliers, and retailers, increase employment, improve the welfare of artisans, and increase skills and new technology so that this sector, which is suffering from a difficult situation, can improve.
In the meeting, newly elected President Sahibzada Saqib Noshai and Chairman Tariq Alvi said that they will make every effort to promote the beauty of the market and handle all matters easily.
They said that they are with the business community to solve the problems of the furniture market of Manzoor Colony.
