SHO Malir City police station Muhammah Ali Shah informed that the police team has arrested Five accused who were operatives of a group that steals laptops by breaking the windows of cars and snatch them on gunpoint.
However he told, Four seized/stolen laptops and high quality hashish were recovered from the arrested accused.
He said, During interrogation arrested suspects revealed that at the behest of their gang leader, they snatch and steal laptops at gunpoint and by breaking the windows of vehicles, which they later deliver to other persons.
Station House Officer (SHO) Malir City Police Station stated that, The laptops recovered from the accused are stolen/taken from Malir City police station, whose cases were registered in the police station.
Whereas he shared that, The arrested accused confessed to carry out most of the crime in Malir, East and Korangi district.
The arrested accused are identified as Ijaz Ali, Qasim, Zarsheed Khan, Bijat Amin and Safdar Ali who are habitual criminals and dealing in stolen/snapped laptops for a long time , he added.
He also informed Daily City News that, Raids are being conducted to arrest other operatives and leader of the group of arrested accused Fayaz alias Kabari.
