Madina Colony police in a successful operation led by SHO Madina Colony Inspector Muhammad Salem Rind had arrested wanted drug dealer and criminal Akram son of Eid Mohammad from the area of Lasi Para Baldia Town.

According to the details, one and a half kg of fine quality drug was recovered from the possession of the arrested accused. Initial investigation revealed that the arrested accused is the brother of wanted drug dealer Anwar Baloch, for whose arrest raids are being carried out while he is still fugitive

Moreover, the daily city news has informed by the police officer that the accused run a drug trafficking network from Lasi Para and supply drugs by auto on a phone order which is the very easiest way to buy drugs, and the accused has already been arrested and jailed in several drug trafficking cases, therefore, case No. 274/21 has been registered in Mdina colony police against the accused under Section 6 / 9C of the Anti-Narcotics Act.

In another action, two drug sellers have been arrested by Madina colony police involved in drug trafficking from Lasi Para namely Tariq alias Pappu and Tariq Aziz . The accused are professional habitual offenders and have been arrested and jailed several times before. Case No. 276/21 Criminal Section 6 / 9B Anti Narcotics Act was registered after arresting the accused while selling drugs. Further investigation is underway.

Meanwhile SHO Madina colony Muhammad Salim Rind said that crackdowns are underway against drug trafficking over the orders of SSP Keamari District Police Mr. Fida Hussain Janwari and it will continue until we overcome the curse of drugs.
