Karachi : Pak colony police conducted a successful operation in the area of old Golimar against gangwar on Wednesday. The operation was conducted over the instructions of SPP Keamari Arif Aslam Rao to control the crime situation in Old golimar. During the successful operation a most wanted gang war leader Riyasat alias Haji arrested from old Golimar along with explosives, sid SSP Keamari Police.
SSP Keamari added that the arrested accused was wanted by the police. The accused operates a gangwar group and drug network in Old Golimar and know as influenced person of the area. The accused has been arrested in 24 serious cases like police encounter, murder, attempted murder, drugs and illegal weapons.
Arif Aslam Rao said that the accused is involved in gang war activities including drug selling, gutka selling, attacks on people from opposing groups and police personnel’s.
According to the Police official a hand grenade was recovered from the possession of the accused at the time of arrest.
Further a case under the explosives act has been registered against the accused and further investigation is being conducted by the concerned police.
