There is serious concern about the adjustment of the salaries of Secretary Behzad Ali Memon and Director Land Ashfaq Mallah in Karachi Development Authority (KDA) who were appointed by the local government department in the KDA.
Abdul Maroof President KDA Employees Union CBA and General Secretary Qamar Abbas asked Caretaker Local Government Minister Mubeen Jumani , Secretary Local Government Manzoor Sheikh and DG KDA to take immediate notice regarding this act.
He stated that we are deeply concerned about the adjustment of the salaries of Secretary Behzad Ali Memon and Director Land, who came from outside.
KDA Employees Union CBA President Abdul Maroof and General Secretary Qamar Abbas said that we had already opposed that the violation of the High Court should be stopped and officers should not be appointed in KDA from outside, so far no action has been taken on this.
Now, on top of this, the salaries of these officers are also being adjusted in KDA, which is tantamount to abuse and oppression of KDA officers, CBA President said.
KDA Employees Union CBA reserves the right to protest against this act, he told.
He demanded to the caretaker Local Government Minister Mubeen Jumani and DG KDA Naveed Anwar Siddiqui to bound the Member Finance and Director Finance to refrain from any such action, otherwise CBA will staged protest in KDA.
