An emergency meeting of KDA Employees Union (CBA) MQM (Pakistan) was held under the chair of Union Patron-in-Chief and KDA Unit In-charge Syed Imran Hussain Jafri , which was attended by KDA Employees Union (CBA) President Mohammad Abdul Maroof, General Secretary Qamar Abbas including other office bearers of CBA .
In the meeting it was discussed that arrears of the retired employees of the department, which were about three billion rupees, has approved today in a meeting of the Sindh Cabinet .
On which the KDA Employees Union (CBA) warmly welcomed the Director General KDA Naveed Anwar Siddiqui on the ground floor.
Imran Hussain stated that, i am extremely grateful that due to DG KDA hard work and personal interest, the long-standing problem of retired employees has been resolved.
Even after the passing of three years, KDA retired employees dues had not been paid, but the caretaker Chief Minister, Justice Rtd Maqbool Baqir and Local Government Minister Mubeen Jumani played their role in getting the arrears of the retired employees , due to which three billion rupees has been approved, he added.
KDA Unit In-charge Syed Imran Hussain Jafari said that the payment of arrears of all retired employees of the department is a great achievement because the retired employees were very worried due to non-payment of their dues, now inshallah they will be paid soon.
Employees Union congratulated the Director General KDA Naveed Anwar Siddiqui, Member Finance and Secretary KDA for the improvement and positive works for the department and employees.
He assured his full support for KDA and said that Employees Union (CBA) stands shoulder to shoulder with management for the rights of KDA employees.
