Karachi: KDA is continuously taking action against encroachment on government lands throughout the city of Karachi.
According to the spokesperson of Karachi Development Authority, DG KDA Syed Muhammad Ali Shah has a clear stance that he will not move back against the occupation mafia in any case, operations will continue until the government lands are completely handed over.
In this regard today, the Estate and Enforcement Department of Karachi Development Authority (KDA) conducted a grand operation against the illegal occupants near Gulistan e Johar Block 10, Munawar Chowrangi. It should be noted that in the light of court orders, Director General KDA Syed Muhammad Ali Shah issued orders to take indiscriminate action against the land mafia.
In this regard Director Estate and Enforcement Shakeel Siddiqui, Additional Director Jameel Baloch took action against the land mafia in Gulistan e Johar and launched a successful operation, during the operation, KDA personnel faced strong resistance from the miscreants, from time to time the KDA personnel were surrounded by fire, stone pelting and aerial firing by unknown persons. Due to which KDA Assistant Director Anti-Encroachment Rahmat Shah, S.H.O Anti-Encroachment Ahmed, DSP Sohail, Head Muharrir Gulistan e Johar were injured.
On this occasion, the law enforcement agencies took timely action to disperse the miscreants. The Estate and Enforcement department staff continued to demolish illegal food centers, hotels including other constructions with heavy machinery. Actions are being taken against the occupation mafia across the city under the leadership of Director General Karachi Development Authority Syed Muhammad Ali Shah and the supervision of Director Estate and Enforcement.
Whereas, Director Estate and Enforcement, Additional Director, Anti-encroachment staff, local police, Rangers and administration played an important role in bringing the operation to a logical conclusion.
