Ancient Sabo Hero Balouch village is oldest village of Malir Karachi which is deprived from all fundamental necessities and facilities like Electricity, Gas, Education, Health and others since it’s foundation where habitants of village are coerced to expend stone age life.
Majority of residents is jobless, daily wages workers and wood cutters who earn bread for their family members by working on daily wages and cutting woods.
Due to the lock down they have been quarantined at their homes therefore hunger and scarcity of nourishment have occurred in their homes.
In this regards Awami Press Club Malir’s Journalists visited said village and collected details where they found women and children dying of appetite.
People of village expostulated before journalists with women and children and hailed hard slogans against Malir administration, area’s MPA and MNA and elected representatives.
On that occasion villagers talked with journalists having tears in their eyes and said that their village is oldest village of Malir Karachi which consists on 100 houses and 640 population where is no electricity not even gas, health and education facility yet, they are constrained to spend stone age life in the globalization world.
They said that majority of habitants is jobless and do work on daily wages and some of them cut woods from jungle to earn their meal.
They told that government has locked down the country to overcome the spread of pandemic Corona virus so cause of that they are confined at their homes and stoves of their homes have been cold and they are suffering dearth of food.
They further told that government promised to provide ration to penurious and daily wages workers but still they are neglected in the provision of ration but hear that somewhere in area ration is piled up but the reality is that no any governmental officer or affluent people and not even non government organizations have remembered them.
They said with humid eyes that hunger stricken women and children want meal but shall they bring from, now the suicide is only a way left.
Villagers of Sabo Hero Balouch village appealed to Chief Minister Sindh, elected representatives and social activists to provide them ration in order to save from appetite
