Gulshan e Iqbal Police Station team on the directives of Station House Officer Ghulam Nabi Afridi raided at “Nosh Restaurant” on information of ongoing Sheesha business.
It was learned that the said raid was conducted on spy information, where two persons from the management of said restaurant arrested on the spot along with banned Sheesha (Hookah) and its flavors.
Sheesha selling and using on public place banned on the orders of Supreme Court of Pakistan in all over the country.
Whereas on the directives of Inspector General Sindh Police Dr. Kaleem Imam and Additional Inspector General Karachi Ghulam Nabi Memon Sindh Police is actively taking action and ensuring the ban on sale and use of Sheesha.
However the said restaurant were located in Gulshan e Iqbal Block 4, within the jurisdiction of said police station.
SHO Gulshan e Iqbal stated that the police arrested two persons of Nosh Resturant’s management who identified as A. Rehman and Gul Khan, however he informed that the owner of resturant Anas would also be arrested soon.
Whereas FIR No. 771/19 Under Section 269/270/337/J/34 PPC registered against the said arrested person, three sheesha(Hookah) and its flavors also seized by the police.
