Chairman of Safoora Town Rashid Khaskheli has said that efforts are underway to gradually improve Safoora Town, for which the performance of municipal services and local tax departments is being thoroughly reviewed.

Under his chairmanship, a series of departmental performance review meetings are ongoing.

In this regard, a dedicated meeting was recently held to evaluate the performance of the Parks and Land departments.

The session was attended by Municipal Commissioner Imtiaz Hussain Magsi, Director Local Taxes Irshad Khaskheli, Director Parks Ghaus Bakhsh Khakhrani, Deputy Director Parks Abdul Malik Mehar, Deputy Director Land Liaquat Magsi, and other officials.

During the meeting, officers and staff from both departments briefed the chairman on their current performance and ongoing projects. Chairman Rashid Khaskheli emphasized the need to enhance the beauty of Safoora Town progressively.

He directed the Parks Department to continue their work while also initiating new efforts to further beautify the town. He stressed the importance of improving parks, recreational grounds, and increasing greenery through all possible measures.

Khaskheli also instructed the Land Department to improve its performance and implement a comprehensive policy to expand the tax net and enhance local tax recovery.

He urged all departments to take every possible step for the town’s development and called upon officers and staff to demonstrate their full capabilities in service delivery.

He reiterated at the end of the meeting that reviewing the performance of departments responsible for municipal services and local taxes is crucial to driving Safora Town toward gradual progress.

Municipal Commissioner Imtiaz Hussain Magsi also addressed the gathering and encouraged the departments to evaluate their performance on a daily basis and continuously strive for improvement.

The attending officers and staff assured the Chairman of their commitment to enhancing their performance and contributing effectively to the betterment of Safoora Town.
