In the past few days, Health Working Committee Pakistan Peoples Party Central District nominated office bearers visited various government hospitals and dispensaries in the District, in which the flags and banners of political parties were clearly displayed in the government hospitals.
Imran Baloch President PPP District Central Health working committee shared these views while speaking with Daily City News correspondent.
He stated that it also gave the perception to public that only political party workers can get treatment facilities in the government hospital without any difficulty.
Naved Anwar Office bearer District Central Health Working Committee shared, While the aim of government hospitals is to provide treatment facilities to every patient regardless of color, caste, nationality. In such situation, the Health Working Committee of Pakistan Peoples Party has forwarded request to relevant officers to immediately remove political flags and banners from the government hospitals .
Moreover he said that, the occupation of the land of the water storage tank in Sindh Government Hospital New Karachi should be vacated immediately. It was also seen that millions of rupees are being collected monthly from the land around the hospital for Wednesday, Sunday and Saturday markets around Sindh Government Hospital New Karachi and Sindh Government Hospital Lal Market Sector 5-D, he added.
Due to crowd of these illegal markets patients who are coming to said hospitals are facing severe issues, while the provision of ambulance service is also being affected ,these markets should be prevented from the surrounding of hospitals.
