Karachi; Administrator DMC East Syed Shakeel Ahmed said that after the forecast of rain, efforts have been made to make whatever arrangements can be made, at this time we are also ready for heavy rains.
He expressed these views while inspecting the work of cleaning of drains at various places of Lemo Goth, Gulshan-e-Iqbal and University Road.
On this occasion, he further said that work is being done to clean the drains under the supervision of DMC East, there are many small drains in Jamshed Zone, which have almost been cleaned, cleaning of drains will be made possible before the regular monsoon season. After this, we are trying to take such measures from now on so that there is not much work have to be done in the monsoon season.
He was accompanied by Director Municipal Services Tauqeer Abbas, Assistant Executive Engineer Rashid Fayyaz and others.
