Protest of Down University employees enters in 13th day on wednesday. Members of Joint Action Committee & workers under Joint Action Committee are protesting for the legitimate and long-standing demands of Dow University of Health Sciences Employees.

Two hour token strike was called in the camp in the OPD block, whereas Employees worn black ribbon, carrying banners and placards, chanted slogans in support of their demands.

Due to lack of interest and lack of seriousness on the part of the Vice Chancellor of Dow University, the employees warned the Dow University administration that they would extend the circle of protests in all the universities of Sindh with the help of Federation of Universities.

Employees warned that if the administration of Dow University does not resolve their issues, then in the next phase thousands of employees of all the universities of Sindh will march towards the Sindh Assembly and the Chief Minister’s House.
