Haji Nawaz Ali Brohi Chairman of Town Municipal Corporation Manghopir has said that the rains are continuing, in view of which we have completed all the arrangements.
Time started cleaning all rain drains has to be been completed, Most of our area consists of unplanned population due to which in the past these goths were filled with water and there was no drainage system, he added.
Whereas he said that When Manghopir Town came into existence, it focused on this work the most and solved the drainage problem by getting the sewerage works done in the village areas, which has seen a significant reduction in the problems today and where the works of laying sewerage lines have been done.
Drainage works are going on in these areas through dewatering pumps and All the holidays have been canceled due to which all the staff are engaged in public service.
Vice Chairman Rana Arif, UC Chairman Javed Brohi, Superintendent Engineer Hasan Shaikh, XCN Sami Brohi, Engineering Wing Afaq Alam, Mazhar Shah, Junaid Siddiqui, Ghaffar Jatoi and others were also present.
